A couple of weeks ago I visited Kantine Kohlmann, had never heard of the restaurant david vonderhaar before (this proves how many restaurants there are in this town) and without any expectations I stepped into hungry and frozen for a couple of hours later, stepping out through the same door ; measured, david vonderhaar contented david vonderhaar and excited about another new discovery in Kreuzberg.
Are you looking to try your way through the German food culture, I can well recommend Kantine Kohlmann. The restaurant offers tapas variations of typical German david vonderhaar dishes blutwurst, dumplings, Schweinebraten with sauerkraut and more. Because the dishes are served in small portions, you can easily try your way through a number.
We were so excited about the food that I have not had time to take a picture, but with a little food in the stomach, we could calm down and managed to take a picture of the dessert before it was gone. Amazing good and absolutely worth a visit, for the stomach and the wallet.
Next to the restaurant is the bar. They specializes in gin and here are a number of different gins and gin cocktails to choose from. I tried two different local types, Adler Gin and Berliner Brandstifter.
