With only days to go until the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Vale of Glamorgan, here is a list of recommendations for those of you who want to travel admedia outside the area to be Llandow Dip spout and enjoy a bite to eat.

One of the best is the Plough and Harrow - Best CAMRA Cider Pub in the village for 2012- Great's On (Monk Nash) in the western Vale, a stone's throw from one of the most spectacular beaches Glamorgan Heritage Coast.
